Before 2019 – The Origin of the Trust

Dr. E. M. Abdullah Educational Trust was established as part of the broader Syed Ammal Trust, founded in memory of Tmt. Syed Ammal by Dr. E. M. Abdullah, MBBS.
The trust had already been running several educational institutions in Ramanathapuram District before starting the CBSE school.

2018 – Planning Stage

Land acquisition near Peravoor, Devipattinam Road for an 8-acre school campus.
Plans were made to establish a CBSE-affiliated institution offering modern infrastructure with a focus on holistic education.

2019 – Establishment of Syed Ammal Public School

Officially inaugurated under the Dr. E. M. Abdullah Educational Trust.
Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), affiliation number 1931290.
Medium: English; Type: Co-educational; Curriculum: CBSE-NCERT.
First batch of admissions for Nursery to Grade VIII.

2019–2020 – Initial Operations

Classes started with limited grades but expanded each year.
Facilities included GPS-enabled buses, CCTV security, and dedicated labs.
Focus on activity-based learning, assemblies, and co-curricular programs.

2021 – COVID-19 Adaptations

Shifted to online teaching platforms for uninterrupted learning.
Introduced virtual events and online assessments.

2022 – Growth Phase

Addition of more senior classes in alignment with CBSE standards.
Enhanced laboratories and library resources.
Expanded sports facilities.

2023 – Academic Excellence & Infrastructure Expansion

New activity rooms, science and computer labs updated.
Introduction of more extracurricular clubs (arts, science, sports).

2024 – Present

Continuing CBSE curriculum with upgraded smart classrooms.
